Abstract

Ramayana Story Volumes has spread not only in India but also in Asian countries In various forms. Although composing the Ramayana in various forms, Valmiki Ramayan is indicated as the base literature. There are seven books in Valmiki Ramayan. Though Kamba Ramayana based on Valmiki Ramayan, completed his epic with Youth Khand, left the Uthar Khand. Ottakuthar composed the Uthar Khand. Uttar Khand is the final chapter of the Ramayana. In this chapter, one can see the incidents After Raman taking the Ayodha kingdom as the crowned King. In this chapter, not so many incidents can be seen. In Tamilnadu Temples, sculptures of Uthar Khand is revised here. The Uthar Khand Part is seen only in Valmiki and the Ranganatha Ramayanam based on the Valmiki. Kamban finished his epic After Raman being the crowned king. This is the main point of this research. In India, Astro Ramayan information was seen only in Buddhist Monument Inscriptions. In Tamilnadu during the sixth to the eighth century, The cave Temples created by Pandiyas and Pallavas are the beginning of sculpture art. Ramayan sculptures in Tamilnadu temples are based on Valmiki, Kamban and Ranganathar creations. Morals of life have been thought through Art forms that exist during that period. When the Epic was sculptured, it will penetrate the mind who saw it, when no communication channels exist. In Temple's sculptures, no importance was given to Uthar Khand Part. In many temple's sculpture work has been ended with Raman's Coronation ceremony. One must remember here the Complete Ramayan Story has been taking the art form in Kamatchi Amman Temple situated in the Mallikarjunar Temple premises Dharmapuri, is a Nulambar artwork. Uthar Khand Part sculptures were only seen in Pullamangai Brammapuriswarar temple, Dharmapuri Mallikarjunar temple, Kurungkaleeswarar temple Koyambedu Chennai, in the three temples. In this sculptures slander about Seetha, Seetha entering the Forest and Raman's Aswametha Yaga can be seen. The Part Uthar Khand is seen in Valmiki and Ranganath Ramanyan alone, so we conclude these sculptures are based out on this works.
